Dr. Amnon Amit, MD
Specialization: Dr. Amit was the Deputy Director of the Obstetrics-Gynecology Department from 2000 to 2006. In the years since, he has served as Head of the Gynecologic-Oncology Division.
Education: A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Dr. Amit completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Rambam Medical Center
He then went on to undertake a fellowship in Gyneco-Oncology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, USA.
Clinical Experience: As Head of the Gynecologic-Oncology Division, Dr. Amit is responsible for the medical and surgical treatment of cervical, endometrial, and ovarian cancer, in addition to complex pelvic surgery.
Social Activity: Over the years, Dr. Amit has taught many medical students and residents. He has also written more than 20 scientific articles and has presented his research in international meetings.
